Tasting Notes: The Barberani Rosato Amore is a brilliant soft pink color with scents of wild strawberries, currants, and citrus flowers. Fresh flavors of peaches, strawberries, and raspberries, with a dry finish. A perfect match with raw fish and shellfish, or pasta with vegetables.
Estate History: Luigi and Giovanna Barberani began making wine in 1961 near Lake Corbara in Umbria. Now in the capable hands of Luigi’s son Niccolò are 55 hectares of organic vineyards producing a range of unique, classic, and unmatched Umbrian wines. Fully organic since the 1980’s, long before it was fashionable, Barberani has always sought out a unique approach to making wine.
